After a year of predominantly digital events, Tom Dixon is back on the road to embark on a Grand Tour of Europe. We visit key cities to showcase our latest innovations and celebrate the launch of new products.

innsbruck WITH DESIGN NETWORK
Following successful exhibitions and events in Milan, London and Belgium, the brand’s next stop will be Innsbruck to visit long-time friends of Tom Dixon, Design Network & Family Kilga.
From the 1st – 3rd December, Design Network and Tom Dixon will host a series of events and talks at Design Network’s Idea Hub in the heart of Innsbruck’s old town.
The event schedule will include VIP events, Press Previews and a visit to Sölden to visit Ice Q restaurant where Tom Dixon’s Slab chairs and Void lights complement the interior.
Tom Dixon visits Innsbruck with Design Network
A VIP dinner with architects, designers, press and friends of Design Network at 360 Grad Restaurant – which boasts panoramic views of the Austrian Alps.
Tom will present the latest innovations in Luminosity and Materiality. Highlights include the new the mesmerising MELT Chandeliers, made of shades which are half metallised to create an extraordinary optic effect. As well as the PRESS lights, thick and transparent ribbed glass which create diffusion of the light source and projects linear and stripy patterns.
A lunch with Architects and Designers hosted at House Kilga / Design Network Idea Hub followed by a presentation by Tom and an in-conversation with local Austrian architects.
ICE Q RESTAURANT
A visit to Sölden to visit Ice Q Restaurant where Tom Dixon’s SLAB chairs and VOID lights complement the interior. Ice Q is a masterpiece of contemporary architecture and is widely recognised as a location in the James Bond film, Spectre.
MATERIALITY IN LONDON
Tom Dixon is back to celebrate London Design Festival, the biggest campaign on their home turf, and will investigate the theme of MATERIALITY showcasing brand new launches in furniture and lighting.
From the 18th – 26th September the entire Coal Office will be open to the public and the events schedule will include a series of parties, VIP events, A&D presentations, Press Previews, workshops and afternoon teas.
We will launch the new MASS collection, a family of super-polished solid brass tables, coat and bookstands. Created exclusively for LDF, a limited-edition MASS 4-Poster bed will be on display in the Gallery which will be upholstered and decorated in Kvadrat fabrics.
LUMINOSITY IN MILAN
The first stop on the tour will be Milan to coincide with Salone del Mobile. We will investigate LUMINOSITY by delving deeper into how optics and light can improve your spaces.
Tom Dixon will host a luminosity exhibition at the The Manzoni, our Hub and restaurant in Milan. We will launch two new products: the mesmerising MELT Chandeliers, and the hyper-reflective glass PRESS lights.
VIP lunches will be curated by Francesca Sarti from food design studio Arabeschi di Latte and The Manzoni. Luminosity-themed afternoon tea will be designed by inventive food creators and architects of taste Bompas & Parr, featuring the studio’s new Benham & Froud jellies. The tea will also be supported by Cocoon Tea Artisans. By invitation only.
