YESTERDAY was distressing,
TODAY is unknown.
TOMORROW is because we also need to be positive about what we do next.

Sharing our latest ideas, improving the spaces around us and finding out what’s happening with our friends around the globe.

But mainly it’s here to stop cabin fever as we all self-isolate.

Watch Transmission 12 from TUESDAY:

Here’s Tom Dixon back in the Peckham, London workshop where the original PYLON chair was first produced many moons ago.

These Paper Factor sustainable micropaper surfaces are created by hands and machines for architecture, art, and interior design. 2 of which have adorned the Manzoni, a monastic dining experience in Milan.

Inspired by our SWIRL family, now you can create something unique and swirly of your own at home with our Marbling (HOW TO) guide on our blog.

For LDF 2019, Tom designed and welded a one-off chaise longue and during the week Felicity from @rushmatters brought her hand-cut East Anglian bulrush and completed the silhouette.

Starting a new week, introducing CRAFTS week. With a throwback to when Tom made something, in under an hour, with a limited number of items (including a copy of the New York Times) and a wild card pick (which Tom chose white tissue paper). Video owned NYT.

TOMORROW, our fresh food hub at the Tom Dixon shop in Kings Cross, opened yesterday in collaboration with Natoora - bringing the farm to the city at wholesale prices. Open from Mon to Sat: 10am - 7pm. We also bake. We also cook. Find our daily menu for takeaway and recipes to cook for yourself on the Coal Office's IG page.

Introducing TOMorrow Channel, Tom takes us through the changes made at our headquarters in Kings Cross and Coal Office Restaurant. Serving their last service before the lockdown. 'The farmers are still looking for somewhere to sell. All the restaurants have closed, but we can set up a food distribution service right here, at the Coal Office and we can get fresh food from the farm, to the City. Tomorrow.'

TODAY is going to be very tough and we are all having to deal with it.

But can we also please speak about TOMORROW?

At least we know that TOMORROW we are still going to have to eat and eat healthily. And we are going to have to make more of an effort as a community.

We also know spring is here and that’s a good thing. Our farmer’s crops are starting to be ready but with no restaurants to buy their superior British produce it could rot in the fields and greenhouses just at the time it is needed most.

Our friends at NATOORA have the trucks and the expertise to hunt down the very best in local produce and reduce food miles.

We have the COAL OFFICE restaurant ready to organise and to chop and retail. We have a big but dormant TOM DIXON shop bang in the middle of Kings Cross ready to sell, to distribute and to give surplus to those in need.

Now we need YOU and ANYONE that loves food. Anyone that needs the freshest vegetables straight from the fields of Dorset, of Kent and of Cornwall.

People that love the famous COAL OFFICE fresh baked bread. People that want some quality wine from LIBERTY WINES to drown their sorrows.

Anybody that wants a good nourishing honest soup or vegetable stew. People that believe that you are what you eat.

Anyone who wants to help the people with no shelter.

Kind of everybody, really.
