TOUCHY, FEELY
We've created 3 unique interventions to explore the sense of touch.
Starting with a Barber Shop and new shave instruments created with men's care brand Harry's.
RAZOR BAR
Open to the public & by-invitation grooming services.
Build your own razor
We've created a limited edition razor handle that have been co-designed by both brands.
A multitude of cylindrical aluminium blocks can be combined to create your own razor handle. With a limited number available to assemble during London Design Festival.
Configure your own razor handle 14-22 Sept.
Open every day 10-8pm Sundays 11-5pm.
Swivels & Hydraulics
For the Razor Bar we've created prototype lighting for the space and customised the S chair and Bird chaise-lounge with new, additional barber shop features.

Razor, Mirror, Brush, Bar
As for the touchy, feely experience we've worked with Harry's to create a 4-piece razor bar that draws on the sensory tactility of shaving.
Made exclusively for London Design Festival 2019, the razor bar will be on show between 14-22 September at Tom Dixon's Coal Office in Kings Cross, London.

The Touchy, Feely theme continues with an immersive textile arch and loom, working with Scottish mill Bute Fabrics.
LOOM
In the ‘Textiles’ Arch, Tom Dixon will preview their 2020 textiles collaboration with Scottish mill Bute Fabrics.
Fat chairs
Fat, our new upholstery chair range will be shown with an additional silhouette to be revealed during London Design Festival.
Canopy of fabric
To enhance the tactility, the walls of the arch will be padded, and a canopy of fabric will suspend from the ceiling. Fat chairs and the new Fat sofa, chaise and stool will be on display in the upcoming upholstery range.
Talks and Demonstrations
A large loom will be warped up and live weaving demonstrations led by the mill will take place every day. Daily talks will also offer visitors an insight into the collection.
